Who is TrakVu?

TrakVu helps you with your social media needs whether that means explaining your service or promoting your event. Our clients to date range from authors and TV hosts to start-up entrepreneurs and multi-million dollar corporations. Their products range from books and bras to racing and religion.

TrakVu is the social media arm of two different companies – BoydGroup Solutions and LighTowermedia. BoydGroup Solutions is an information technology firm advising clients on internet strategy while also optimizing and building web based and mobile (iPhone) applications. LighTowermedia is a specialty communications firm, preparing clients for news interviews, on-line chats, and business presentations.

TrakVu combines this expertise in content and technology, offering services in four areas. Like Lego, you can buy the entire structure or snap off one piece of it:

Explore -
We explore your space looking for the leaders and the followers who can influence what you sell. Then we look at where they lean and what they say.
Monitor & Report -
We watch your space for you, looking for changes in it and delivering a weekly report to you on our monitoring results.
Counsel -
Based on what we learn, we can help you initiate or respond, counseling you on the best ways to interact with the leaders and followers in your space.
Execute -
We can help you execute your social media plan. From Twitter invites or “Twites” to blogger one-on-ones or our own TrakVu-TV, we can help you organize your plan or simply offer you tips on how to do it yourself.

Senior Team Bios:

Brian E. Boyd, Sr. (Twitter)

Brian Boyd is a founding partner with TrakVu LLC, helping clients manage their social media space. TrakVu services range from social network exploration and monitoring to counsel on how to interact and assistance in executing  live events. Brian focuses on the technology and trends behind social media, ensuring that TrakVu remains on the cutting edge for its clients.

Brian also runs BoydGroup Solutions, LLC, a full service Information Technology consultancy based in New York, NY. Founded in 2001, BGS serves clients in the US and Canada, and has satellite offices in San Antonio, St. Louis, Charlotte, Atlanta, and Los Angeles.

Alexander Kippen

Alexander Kippen is a founding partner with TrakVu LLC.  In addition to business development and advising clients on building their messages, Alexander helped create TrakVu TV – live web-based events using streaming video where online viewers interact in real-time with the event hosts and guests.

Alexander also runs LighTowermedia, helping clients since 2002 ranging from Fortune 500 executives and individual entrepreneurs to U.S. cabinet officials and Olympic athletes test and sharpen their argument.  Typically, LighTower clients are preparing for news interviews, social media, analyst calls, PowerPoint presentations, or industry panels.

David Ortinau (Twitter)

With a background in communication and professional writing, David Ortinau is a senior developer and strategy consultant, developing and designing new media solutions and enterprise web applications for the past 14 years. During that time, he’s worked in advertising, marketing, video production, and software development.
